I have used 3CX for several years and have outbound routes enabled and E164 enabled for UK +44 whiich should strip the + as usual....but it is not...looking in the call logs, it is not stripping the + for UK calls as the appear in the log as +4xxxx but for other countries it strips the + and adds the correct 00. They work fine but any UK number saved as +44 fails

"Target endpoint for +4477xxxxxxxxx can not be built " is what the log shows for each and every call.

004477xxxxxxxxxxxxx is fine
077xxxxxxxxxxxxxx is fine

+971 56xxxxxxxx (e.g.international) is fine

It just started happening with the last update to 16.0.641 on Linux.

Any thoughts Thanks

I sounds like the E164 rues are not being followed, if they appear to be correct.

Perhaps there is some corruption as a result of the update. +44, on UK number not converted to the correct prefix before proceeding to the outbound rules.

Have you tried a re-boot?
Have you tried changing the rules (or deleting), then changing back, to the correct settings?

Most kind suggestions but I have tried all of these. The logs show that with E164 enabled and country set to +44 United Kingdom, it leaves +44xxx number with the + sign

I tried a full reinstall using older backups and when it upgrades to the latest V16.0.641 it stops stripping the +

Is it an option to disable the e164 rules and just manually set the required rule in the outbound rules? I also had issues with teh e164 rule automation and just abandoned it and used outbound rules. Does it work for you?
