Hi All,

As the title says. Our ISP has changed our IP address and we can't get it back. Because of this we are unable to access the admin portal of our 3CX hosted PBX system. Has anyone been able to get into the admin console again? We can still access the phone system and receive/make calls. We just can't access the Admin Console so I am at a loss to what I can do to get into it again.

Thanks

Hello @BlueStu,

That means that you have Console Restrictions enabled on the PBX.
Have you tried to login from one of your allowed IP Addresses?

The ISP isn't going to give us the previous IP address we had so we are unable to use that again. I can only assume it means we have to do a reinstall of the system. We do have backups but if they have the console restriction to the previous IP address am I correct in assuming that we won't be able to use that?

Get in touch with the support, they can help you.

That is correct, if the Console Restrictions are in the backup, you will not be able to login again.
You can also open a ticket to the technical support team so we can remove this for you

I have opened a case but was advised that because its an NFR license it isn't covered by support procedures and can only be configured directly from within the system?

Thats correct, NFR licences dont have support. So you need to reinstall your pbx. Next time be sure to have more than one ip address for admin access or remove it before you change your ip.

@BlueStu
If you have access to it via RFC1918 IPs those are allowed by default.
