Since December we have been having issue with forwarding calls externally, and after having a trace done via our PRI provider have determine that any call that is forwarded externally is using our 6 digit main trunk number.

We do know that we maybe able to over ride this via that Outbound Parameters or by entering a default caller ID in the Trunk caller id field.

Has anyone had experience with this issue and if so what changes have worked for you?

hello @CCameron

could you update the PBX first to v16.0.4 and then we can take it from there.

Upgrading at this time will not be possible, unfortunately.

could you elaborate on why?

Since December, as required by law in Canada, your outgoing caller ID must be a 10 or 11 (leading 1) digit (valid) number, or the call will be blocked. Not certain why you would be using a 6 digit "main trunk number". Try with your full 10 digit number NXX NXX-XXXX

You will not be able to forward, sending the extension number (unless a 10 digit DID), nor any modified numbers, such as those modified to include an access digit, such as 9.
