Unable to make inbound calls

Thank you Sir, but from my screenshot above, can you let me know what changes I need to do for proper NATing.
I'm new to pfsense firewall, but am familiar with the firewall in Cisco, Palo alto, etc.
 
Normally ISP Provide 1 Public IP and Local Private IP address for devices locally connected. So your 3CX have the public IP. Login to your customer portal and check which IP is registered to your FQDN and let me know
 
Or if you have a good document about NAT when dealing with multiple wan public IPs?

Can you configure your pfsense firewall outbound into hybrid mode?
 
I did hybrid outbound , and switched 3cx to its respective static ip in 3cx portal, but that didn't work.

We used pfsense DNS to point 3cx fqdn to point to its respective 3cx public IP.

Sound weird, Are you using your own fqdn or 3cx fqdn?

It's not really clear from the terms you used so I will try to keep it simple, without these settings you will have issues making/receiving calls.

Provider will give you a public IP lets say: 75.90.220.100
When bridged, that IP can be bound to the PFsense WAN port

Pfsense WAN will have public IP: 75.90.220.100
Pfsense LAN will have a private IP lets say 10.1.1.100
3CX server will have a private IP lets say :10.1.1.200

In this mode, the Pfsense takes the place of the provider's modem, so you need to use full cone nat forwarding on the PFsense, when something arrives at your public IP 75.90.220.100 port 5060 to be forwarded to 3CX private IP 10.1.1.200 port 5060
 
Thank you @JohnS_3CX , from what you described this is exactly how my current setup is working. However, aside from 3cx I want to NAT other devices. Which is why I want voice traffic flow to happen with it's respective publicIP. I do not want to use the Pfsense WAN public IP, for voice.
 
Ok then you're saying you have another public IP lets say: 75.90.220.101 and want this for dedicated PBX?

Use my example IPs if you want to be more specific.

Yes.. 75.90.220.100 for Pfsense box and 75.90.220.101 for PBX
 
Ok then it is clearly a matter of setting up your Pfsense properly to do this exact thing for you.

I would search for "pfsense multiwan", and set static routes for traffic from 10.1.1.200 (3CX) to exit the firewall via WAN02:75.90.220.101 and everything else to use the default route via WAN01:75.90.220.100

This implies that would would setup 2 WAN gateways with each having its own public IP assigned so you can route traffic just like you wanted.

You need to speak with someone that is specialized on Pfsense to help you (regardless of whether its for running 3CX or a web server or a mail server etc) as I don't know what this firewall will allow you to do.

That is correct... That is what I want... All the info I find on the internet is for load balancing and failover.I'm posting on forums forhelp.
 
Yeah I noticed that too, I didn't come across multiwan with different public IPs assigned. Just failover and load balancing so I'm not sure if it can be done as you want.

Perhaps you can try a forum which specializes on Pfsense and see if there is a method they recommend to accomplish this or look for Methods of Using Additional Public IP Addresses
 
Thanks.. I had referred this video earlier. It is incomplete. I've even reached out to them for the rest of the video, but couldn't get far..
