Solved Unable to reach 3CX License Activation Server. Confirm that your Primary DNS Server is able to resolve activate.3cx.com

System is self hosted. Not sure what to make of this I can ping from command line activate.3cx.com, but i keep getting this error Unable to reach 3CX License Activation Server. Confirm that your Primary DNS Server is able to resolve activate.3cx.com.

Change the 3CX server dns settings to google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and see if this resolves the issue

This is the normal fix for this type of error

Try putting 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in the /etc/resolv.conf file instead. Then reboot the machine and try again.
