Solved unable to receive SMS message via 3cx mobile app on an iPhone

I have a user who can send messages but is unable to receive them when people reply.
This has just started happening in the past 60 days. prior to late April he was able to do both
I have reviewed the forums and seem instances from a while back but the suggested causes have been checked and are correct.

Check that the webhook in the providers portal is set correctly. Also can you check if you can send and receive from a webclient or desktop app? Is the issue only the iOS app?

The webhook was the issue.
It looked like it was not the complete link installed. once i updated it everything resumed
