Unable to register the newly installed 3CX license gets the following error

3CX failed to establish a TCP connection to activate.3cx.com.
Ensure that the local or border firewalls are configured to allow outbound traffic to activate.3cx.com

I am sure that there are no restrictions on firewall for 3CX. Another instance is registered under the same firewall and I tried disabling the firewall as well but no change.

Is DNS working on the 3CX server?

Is this a newly installed 3CX or only a License change?
in case of the latter, wich version of 3CX are you currently on?
