Hi All

Apologies for this, I a thread open, and posted this question somewhere else, but now it seems to have been blocked and I only get "You have insufficient privileges to reply here." when i try to post there, so I am posting this again.

@bitn2

Basically, I am unable to reset user credentials including mine. I keep getting error "Licence is not authorised to use 3CX SMTP" I tried this on 2 instances, thinking the firstone may have been incorrect install somehow, but when I check, I get this on the new instance as well, I am using SC8 trial hosted by 3CX which we want to upgrade to full PRO licence. But now I can't even login to the control panel as I am unable to reset the password.

Please contact our Customer Care team in the below contact form for further clarification on your license:

I tried that, haven't got a response yet. Is there another way to set the password, can this not be done from the portal.3cx.com ?

I believe you have received a reply from the Customer Care Team.
Can you please check and let us know if you still have any issue?

Hi Theodor

Thanks for the reply, I didn't get reply from CS and I tried forgot password link on the admin login panel of the instance in question but haven't got any password reset emails yet.

You still get the same error?

Unfortunately i cant check the logs as I cannot login. I don't have the credentials, when I request new credentials by clicking "Forgot Password" on the login screen, I haven't received any emails to reset the password.

Try to reboot the machine from your portal and try again to reset.

I didn't restart the system, however I did get a password reset email and I have reset my credentials and am able to login now. I will reboot the system from here and see how that goes. Thank you so much
