Hi,
i'm seeing multiple forum posts about same issue, most of them are solved, but I am unable to follow the same steps to solve mine.
And I am aware that 3cx support team is looking to find a solution to this problem, but I wanted to try to get help anyway.
So the problem is when I want to save the SMS profile, I cannot click the OK button and a popup will appear above the button saying "Feature available in 3CX Professional and Enterprise Editions."

What have I done to try to solve this:
  1. Refresh license
  2. Edit license without any changes... just clicking edit and then OK.
  3. Create new admin user and re-try all steps.
  4. Restart the virtual machine server
  5. Restart the configuration server service.
  6. incognito window
  7. 3x different browsers (chrome, edge, firefox)
my system is up-to-date, license is Enterprise Annual, 18.0 (Build 314)..... with license and maintenance expiration of "12/22/2022 2:02:28 PM"
im almost to the point of trying to reinstall the server, with a backup configuration file with hardcoded message profile ;-) hehe....
can someone help ?

If the 3CX Support Team is still trying to figure this one out, why do you think anyone would have a better answer?

All we know is usually a restart works, but it could be many things.

I am facing the same exact issue, 3CX Support linked this forum post and said to ask the Community for help.

I am using the Professional License. v18.0.2.307, hard reboot of the VM 3CX is running on, and via terminal with no luck. Cleared cache and tried different browsers/devices. Some Pro features work on my instance, but this one does not.

Do you have the ticket number where 3cx support has asked you to post in the forum for help? or was this suggested from CSR and not actually from 3cx technical support?

Ticket 64155903

I just tried restarting that specific service with no luck.

So not 3cx technical support then! Please be advised that our CSR team is not 3cx technical support and are nontechnical personal that can help you with the nontechnical issue.

I can advise though to access the management console > settings > License and press EDIT and OK then press Refresh license information, if there are no errors there then restart the 3cx services and try to save the SMS config again.

My apologies, I did not realize there was a different spot.

I edited my license without putting any changes in, and then restarted all 3CX services. Still getting the same issue. This is an odd one!

When you refreshed the license information did this go through without any errors? if so DM me the license key please to check it from our side.

No errors, I will get that over to you ASAP.

one thing I do notice while saving the profile and watching the browser console:
when I click OK button to save the message profile the browser makes 3x POST requests to https://[my3cx].3cx.eu:5001/api/messageprovider/update
all have status 200

First request body:
{"name":"Twilio","autoReplyIsEnabled":false,"autoReplyText":null,"credentials":[{"Key":"sid","Value":""},{"Key":"token","Value":""}]}

Second request body:
{"name":"Twilio","autoReplyIsEnabled":false,"autoReplyText":null,"credentials":[{"Key":"sid","Value":"AC2fd190129_MASKED_2b22g57d1d1v5"},{"Key":"token","Value":""}]}

Third request body:
{"name":"Twilio","autoReplyIsEnabled":false,"autoReplyText":null,"credentials":[{"Key":"sid","Value":"AC2fd190129_MASKED_2b22g57d1d1v5"},{"Key":"token","Value":"BSJHbRKJYSAKQ_MASKED_KI98TxtJHSMKCSJWW9"}]}

I have removed sensitive information, so don't worry, but as you can see the first request has an empty credentials array, second request only has the SID filled out, and finally the third request will post both SID and TOKEN.

Now.... if I try to click the OK button again, nothing happens in browser console....

As istruction on my original post https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/unable-to-add-sms-profile-on-enterprise-edition.86830/

I will continue on this post

Filling all fields with Telnyx and then clicking on OK button, 3CX say me that this function is available only on PRO or ENTERPRISE edition.
But i have ENTERPRISE EDITION!!!
I have tried everything, in order:
- Reboot pc on which 3cx is installed
- Reboot all service of 3cx instance
- 3 different browser on 3 different pc to avoid problems witch browser cache
- Written to support!
The support say me that this is a technical problem and i have to use forum to solve it!!!
Now, since a week i'm tryng to solve this problem! There is a solution or i have to use another CSM for sms???

Hi Deadoc_3,
Have you tried refreshing the license,,, also EDIT license and just click OK ?
i've seen most users are able to solve this with any, or some of the things I mention in my first post, but in my case, I have tried them all without success... Maybe you are experiencing the same as me..

i'm guessing 3cx support staff will release an update with a solution to this problem, but it would be great if we could get an early update, or figure out some workaround until the update is released.

maybe if the support staff could share with us, why this is happening, and then I could maybe figure out a workaround to this for everyone...
is it a database problem ?
javascript problem on the webUI ?
or some error in a top secret function we are not suppose to be looking at ;-)

Did you try to only restart the 3CX PhoneSystem 01 Configuration Server service only, from the services section within the management console?

I am experiencing the same problem. I have the Professional version, however when I try to "Add SMS" I'm unable to save the configuration. When I go to click OK, it just says "Features Available in 3CX Professional and Enterprise Editions". I have tried the steps above as well with no luck, including restarting the Configuration Server service by itself. In the activity log it shows the license was loaded successfully.

I have tried also to do a "fake" edit of license without solving the problem.

IMHO is not a database problem, but a problem with recognizing of license type.

In my case i have started installation with a standard license and after i have upgraded it to professional first and to enterprise latest

Sure, i have tried to restart single service without solving anything

I have tried all the suggestions on the previous posts with no success. 3cx Pro user, Flowroute, unable to save configuration on SMS setup screen, "Feature available in 3CX Professional and Enterprise Editions."

FYI in my case, I tried again a week later and it worked.

Yes, I tried it today and was able to save. However, I cannot get the SMS to work at all.

An update on this, if you are unable to save your SMS configuration, try restarting all 3CX Services and then trying again.

This usually happens after you have upgrade your license key from Std to Pro or Ent. After this happens, refresh the license key information in the Management Console to make sure the Dashboard shows correctly the new edition of your key (Pro or Ent), then if you are enalbe to save the SMS config, restart all services and try again.
