Unregistered Extension

We are receiving the below listed message on our 3cx event log. This is happening on all ip phone extensions. Any thoughts

Extension 01 is unregistered, removed contact: sip:[email protected]:50195;transport=TCP;rinstance=0-nuu-hildvyhg.1-xgrrc5vjzyef.nssi;ob;inst="23E354"

Hi Mike C,

I think more investigation and explanation required here. Can you tell us are all these phones local to the 3CX System ? what phone model and firmware version are they running, can you explain your network topology in detail ?

The only other time I recall such an output was with the 3CX client for IOS/Android trying to connect locally to the 3CX system.

It maybe worth confirming if you have changed your local LAN IP address after install (or whether you have it allocated via DHCP) - just an idea.

These phones are not local. The 3CX server is held at a Data Center. We are using SPA 504g and 525g2 ip phones with current firmware. Verified the correct IP. Thanks

We continue to have this error in our 3cx logs: Interestingly, we did a new install in Google Cloud (previous install was in a data center) and we are still getting this error even with no data restored or inputted. No soft or ip phones, no sip trunk, no rules, no extensions, nothing. By default, the new install assigns user 00.

Hello @Mike C

What you are seeing is not necessarily a bad thing as devices and extensions re-register in timely intervals. Even system extensions re-register if services are restarted. Are you experiencing any issues with extensions not being registered or calls being missed?
