How can we update the Debian Linux version? I don't see an option service packs under the updates menu. I just noticed that there is a new ISO and it doesn't say beta. So, I would like to upgrade to that one.

Thank you!

Do I just need to run the following commands?

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

It would be nice if we could see the full version # including the service pack somewhere in the admin GUI. On the licensing page I can only see the main version.

Hello @JST

Which version are you currently on? You can see the version on the dashboard, under the information column next to the license 2017-01-23_11h29_06.png

I got the same version # on the dashboard. I guess I am current now.

Will there be an update option from the dashboard in the future?

Yes service pack updates appear o the dashboard under the updates section.

How is the Debian OS itself planned to be patched? Since 3CX provides the ISO do they plan on offering automated patching.. Not being Linux person I don't want to have to determine what is required or not.

The Debian OS is up to the admin to update, like windows installations the OS has to be patched by the system administrator.
