I was wondering if it is possible with the .NET api to make changes to an extension within 3cx set up, say for example change the first name and the last name, save the information back and then have the phone provisioned after by the api.
At the moment in a test routine I have written, the first name and last name for an extension are changing on the PBX but the phone is not updated without me manually reprovisioning it.
I would like to be able to do all the configuration through our own proprietary app and then use the API to update 3cx.

Also, is it possible to swap extension and their phones around within the .NET API?

Am I right in thinking then there is no way to cause a re-provision to a phone via the Call Control API?
The reason I ask is that we would like to be able to set up the extensions and devices through our application and then update 3cx with its API which would then trigger the relevant phone devices to get re-provisioned.
This is to enable us to have the extension update itself when a person sits in and logs into our app.

No, unfortunately provisioning can't be triggered using any API.
