Solved upgrade from standard to enterprise

Hello Everyone we are new to 3cx .i want to upgrade the Standard version Hosted by 3cx (Free version ) to Enterprise? Thanks in advance

How many users? If you don't have many users or policies you can just spin another instance up and manually do it. If you have a lot of customization, just perform a full backup of your system including all the options. Copy the backups to another location to be safe. Uninstalled 3CX, reboot. Then download and install enterprise version and restore from backup. You will be asked for your new key during installation

It is not even production actually ,it is in my office lab ,we are new to 3cx and didn't know that when we set our self up as partner we will get Enterprise for free for 14 years.So want to take advantage for the Enterprise version instead of Standard.But i want to use the same FQDN though.

On the dashboard, click the word License in the right column. There will be a Replace License Key button at the top of the page.

i m not able to click that option but i m able to click on the bottom line to purchase and that tries to take me to my Distributor site and it tries about 3 times but than it takes to this window below in pic where i m trying to insert the Enterprise key but it says i can't use it.

Oh, the Standard was an NFR? I do believe I've read those can't be upgraded. Sorry...then I guess your path is to restore from backup during installation, and enter the new key there as @rgruber suggested.

Note also that 3CX recently changed their policies that only Bronze level and higher would receive NFRs going forward, starting this month (https://www.3cx.com/partners/channel-partner-program/). So that might take effect once your Academy status expires.
