Upgrade Path from V16 to V20 - LightSail Hosted

Hi there,

I have a PBX that was deployed some time ago (obviously by version number!). We're bringing all previously free PBXs into paid licences.

If I look at the V16 - V18 guide post on the community forum that now links directly to V20.

Can I deploy V20 and then do a V16 backup restore or not?

What is the process? This our last box to sort before Christmas so trying to get in order.

I would suggest to restore the V16 to the latest V18 and proceed with the update from the management console.

Question then is how do I get onto V18 in Lightsail as I can only deploy V20 via PBXExpress?

So if I have a server running on Lightsail on debian 10, when I run the upgrade from the 3cx, it will upgrade the 3cx version and upgrade my server to debian 12?

It upgrades from 10 to 11 then 11 to 12. Note it's still a prerelease:
