Upgrading 3CX 15.5.15502 to 16

Hi,

Am I correct in that if I wish to upgrade my client's 3CX from version 15.5 to version 16 that I need to take a full backup and then uninstall 3CX from the server and then install version 16 and then restore from the backup.

My client is using a Pro licence, is there anything I should be aware of that could cause issues?

Just to add, move the 3CX backup from the 3CX folder structure.

When installing ver 16, select the option to restore using a 3CX backup - You do not install 3CX and then run the restore.

You can only upgrade, if the license key has active maintenance

V15/15.5 and v16 are very similar in architecture (unlike v14 - 15) so I would not be too concerned in this case.
