Dear Users,

with the last telephon bill we found out that 3cx ist not using the outgoing lanes like wie think.

Call or Registration to xxxx0@(Ln.10001@xxxx Hauptstr. ) has failed. 217.0.27.53 replied: 403 Forbidden; from IP:217.0.27.53:5060
This looks like the Telekom is not acccepting the calls.
Is there further ways to see which trunk is used for a outgoing call. We can see active calls but nnot which trunk they use.
I guess we have to see with Telekom why they are not taking the calls. Incoming is no problem, and we are getting them on all trunks.

Any Ideas?

Hi Daniel,

Your outgoing rules are where the decision takes place for which trunk to use.

This requires that the trunk can accept the calls of course.

You can check your logs (set to Verbose via Activity Logs settings) to see how the decision was made. You can filter by call number to make it easy to track a specific call and see what happened. Maybe the rule did not match or maybe the 2nd route of the rule was used in case the 1st route failed?

Hello JohnS,

thanks for your hint. The problem was that the sip Trunk missed the option "Re-Invite"
We have several of this and could test ist. In older Post to 217.0.27.53 replied: 403 forbidden
it said it comes after 24 hours. We could test and secure this. We changed one trunk and so far it looks fine with using the correct trunks.

dashboard > number of calls in use > active calls
this will show what trunk is in use.
