Solved use more than 8 CPU cores @ Amazon Cloud (AWS)

Hello !
we are using Amazon Cloud to host our 3CXs. Unfortunately we are not able to select instances with more than 8 cores. (m4.2xlarge is the highest)
For 512 or 1024 CC licenses with many queues and recordings ON, 8 CPU core server is not ideal. Needs more!
What are you doing if you need more CPU?
Have you any work around to select other instance type with more CPU cores? like c5 / c5n / c5a / m5 / m5a or m4 with more cores than 8

What do you mean you aren't able to do more than 8 cores. Are you talking about through PBXExpress?

I think it's even from marketplace image.

Yeah I saw that after. I don't work with AWS a ton but I assume you could shutdown the VM, snapshot and then spin up a new VM from that snapshot to get around the limitation.

I tried that… do not let me choose other instance types. Only the recommended by 3CX

Hmm.. I'll play with it because that doesn't sound right. But if so, then hopefully they can resolve via the ticket you opened.

3CX team opened all m4 series so we added more cores
