Hi,
I'm trying to schedule a User Activity (Graph) report to run daily for call stats from the day before. The time scale is for Hour-By-Hour. For instance, I'm trying to get a call report showing the number of calls (incoming/missed) by specific extensions from the they day before. In the Frequency option, 'yesterday' is not an option. I can run 'daily' but what time do I specify if this would accomplish what I'm trying to do. Thanks.

Try settings the User Activity (Graph) report to:
  • Frequency: Daily
  • Time: whatever time you want the report to be sent to you every day
  • Time Scale:
    - Hour-by-Hour
    - Important: select yesterday date (so if the day you are configuring it in the Management Console is the 7th of December, you set it to the 6th of December)
  • The rest of the settings as you want them

Set it like this and let it run for a couple of days to see if it generates as you want it to.

Hi @NickD_3CX - I've created this report and it seems to be working. Unless I set the time of day to send incorrectly, but, I have set it to generate at 9am. The stats that come in, are from 2-days prior. Is this how it should work? For example, today's report at 9am had the stats from Monday (12/13) and not yesterdays. If this is how it should work, I'm OK. Thanks again for your suggestion.

There are 3 dates/times that 3CX takes into account when you schedule a report:
  • The "Range" date you want the report from (you put 'Yesterday')
  • The Frequency (you put 9am Daily)
  • What the time was when you created the schedule report
The last one is the 'trick'. I am guessing that you create the report some time after 9am within the day. So it is taking the 'Yesterday' from the current time, and sending it to you at the next '9am' that occurs, which is the next day. Then it repeats the pattern on a daily basis.

Long story short, if you don't mind leave it like this.
If you want to fix it, just create a new scheduled report (editing the existing one wont fix it) and make sure you create it before 9am.

That should do the trick.

Thank you again again. Ahh, I see the logic the report is using. Makes sense.
