Hi There,

I'm new to 3CX. We have just purchased the Professional license. I forgot to check for this feature before purchase, so I hope someone can help me out.

Our current phone system allows each person to get a dialing code which they will use from any extension before they dial a outbound number. We have multiple offices and some of these office have one or two desk phones which all the staff members in that office will share. So that extension does not belong to any single person. To make outbound calls(call to numbers outside our office) the staff member will have to dial a code first, then once the system opens up the line, they can dial the number. This way we can track which staff member dialed which number and bill them accordingly.

The only thing I could find on the 3CX system is to lock the extension, which you will need a code for before being able to dial out from it. This wont work for us as this code is extensino based and not user based, so we still won't be able to see who made the call.

Is there a way that I can enable user based dial codes instead of extension based?

Regards
Hennericho
