Users Auto Creation with M365 AD Sync

M365 AD Sync is working for 3cx extension auto creation, but 3cx extension created with random extension instead of mapping with AD "Phone Number Extension" in Users Profile. Please help us to 3cx AD sync with proper extension number which should be fetched from AD Attribute. Please advise.Thanks.

With the M365 integration, an extension number cannot be mapped to a user when created via the integration with 3cx.

You can specify only the start extesnion number within the integration options.

Thanks for the details. Generally other PBX systems using AD sync for extension creation with extension number which will be mapped with AD Attributes. But in 3cx system, extensions are created randomly instead of trying to map the M365 parameter. Customer looking for proper extension with AD sync. Do we have an any customize option to map the M365 Attribute mapping to fetch the extension number?

When you refer to AD sync, are you referring to the option to create a user extesnion in 3cx with a direct import from Active directory (LDAP Sync)? This is not a feature in the Linux-based OS version and is only available in Windows OS-based installs in v18.

With the import of extesnion via M365 user sync, there are no options to import users to a specific extension number.

Hi Charles, Yeah, it appears you are right. We'd really need the ability to map it the Azure Business Phone property.

In an ideal world, 3cx would wait for that field to be populated and the user's profile would get process using the extension provided.

This might be a shot in the dark and I will do more research, but I'm looking for a way to fully automate creation and deletion based on any of these: Azure, Google, CSV or AD.
