Hi all

A newbie question. Is it possible to use my existing landline with 3CX so that i can get calls on it an then 3CX will allow me to divert it to an extension? I want to be able to get my existing landline calls diverted to my iphone via internet using the app and i do not want to use a voip gateway (my existing home phone+adsl bundle is quite expensive and has got lots of national calls with it and so i dont want to add more costs by paying for a voip line)

Looking forward to your help

Thank you

Nivlesh

Yes

You need a PSTN gateway. See the list of supported gatesways for 3cx at this page. http://www.3cx.com/blog/support/

The Linksys will probably do fine for your needs.

If you expect to receive calls on the iPhone then I'm assuming that you will have it registered as a 3CX extension and be using it with your providers dataplan (3G?) or through a WiFi connection.
