Using routed phones to just route their own traffic

Hi all,

Quick question, may seem daft but I have a client that would like the ability to have their desk phones portable so any member of staff can take their phone home whenever they want and carry on using it. Sure, I would love them to use the 3CX client but they're not interested. They currently use Gamma Horizon which does this just fine. Can I install 8 routed phones each just looking after it's own connection? They are in a managed office and I don't control the firewall so I don't want to have to try STUN.

Well thats what the 3CX app is for on a mobile phone but OK if you want to carry a phone with integrated SBC home then by all means

Well if they are in financial services, sell them 2 phones. They should be able to afford it. One for in the office, one for at home. No need to carry them back and forth.

We have deployed this as a test for the same request "bring phone home without assistance". So far router phone (SBC phones) work fine from our testing of this scenario.
