Good Day,

Why do we not have the option on IVR to send a call to an outside number?

As it is now, I have to forward from the IVR to an internal extension, then forward the internal extension calls to the desired outside number after 1 second (minimum time allowed). This results in an extension being tied up and annoying line clicks as the transfer goes off. Can we not go direct?

No, this is not an option.

As an improvement to your existing configuration, you can have the forwarding done in the AWAY staus and keep that extension in the AWAY status.

Alternatively you can have the call going to a simple call flow app which just forwards the call outwards. This way you can avoid the extension ringing for even that 1 second.
