v14 "HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found" Default Site

I've installed the 3cx Software 4 times making sure I didn't miss anything and even completely backed out and removed the IIS role from the server. After a restart I tried the install again. Same result.

I can bring the Management console up via the public facing FQDN (on the server) but double click on the icon placed on the desktop simple gives me "HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found."

Help, please.

If you right click on the icon, then select properties, where does it "point" to? You could edit that to take you to the correct location. I'm not certain why it is incorrect.

The URL is going to the 'Default web Site'. URL is pointing to our internal domain:

3cxv14.XX.XXXXXXXXXXX.com:80/management

It resolves properly but stating that the folder doesn't exist.

I've usually found it to be something like (locally)...192.168.XXX.XXX:5000/management/MainForm.wgx or remotely...https://yourDomainname.com:5001/Managenent/MainForm.wgx

Under 12.5 it was :5000. With v14 it changed to :80. Just to be clear, I've done nothing other then fill in the values during the installation.

404 - File or directory not found.

Locally on the server:

Might be grasping at straws, but have you tried "Run as Administrator"?

Tried that on the first day. The 3cx installation created a shortcut to a web folder that doesn't exist.

Another point that I need to make that isn't clear to me: Under Default Web Site is '3CXCloudWebService'. The other Site other then Default Web Site is instance01.
