Hello,
I have been using 3cx for many years and I seem to be having an issue I simply just can't solve. I have a deployment that I am using that seems to be experiencing one way audio several times during the day. I reset all services and the system is up and running again for a few hours until the next time. I haven't changed any settings in the system since upgrading to v14 so I am hoping somebody can assist. My system overview:

SonicWALL NSA2600
Windows server 2012 Hyper-V w/4 guest operating systems
Windows server 2012 running 3cx v14
Yealink T-28 telephones (x15)
2 remote 3cx softphones
2 remote telephones via VPN (SonicWALL TZ105)

I haven't noticed anything in the event logs or the 3cx server logs (Unless I am missing something that somebody more educated than I may notice).

If you can assist, I would be appreciative.

Regards,
Robert Kroll

Two things come to mind.
1. Network / router / isp issues
2. Vm Host resource issue.

Thank you for the reply, can you elaborate? I have checked, but cannot find issues.

First things first, are you running the sonicwall hot fix ?

Robert

We have an NSA 2600 running with 3CX 12 without any issues of audio.
It's running firmware SonicOS Enhanced 6.2.2.1-14n--HF156374-6n but the hotfix number is NOT for anything 3CX related.

Thank you for the input. Your input prompted me to check the firmware. The problem was indeed a firmware issue. What was happening is that the SonicWALL was remapping the ports which was a bug in the firmware. Performed the following:

Disabled remapping on outgoing NAT policy.
Turned off Consistent NAT.
Turned off STUN on PBX.
Restarted all services.

So far, 48 hours, so good...

Regards

Hi Robert

Which version of firmware are you running now?

Adrian

Happy to hear that the Sonicwall hotfix was the culprit!
