v14 to v15.5 Upgrade License Expiring Soon

I have 3 questions,

Last year there was a big push to get everyone to upgrade to v15.5. There was a years free license for 16 SC included with the upgrade. The free license will soon be expiring and I'm wondering what features will be dropped when that happens if we don't purchase a . We have a small office and don't need more than 4 SC. From what I can tell, it looks like it will be ok to let the license expire, since the free version supports 4 SC. I don't believe any of the other features that drop will matter to us since we're using the 3CX given mail server and FQDN. I did notice in a google search something about BLF functionality, but not exactly sure if it's lost or what, but it was in the context of business features? Will BLF still work as a free standard feature?

I periodically get this email "SSL Certificate for my3cxname.mn.3cx.us has been successfully renewed". Is this just part of having the 3CX hosted auto-generated FQDN/SMTP? Is there any concern here with the a free license? I'm assuming this will continue to happen,correct?

v16 is available. Is there anything in particular where it's highly recommended to install the update?

if you upgrade to v16, you will get 8 SC standard license free of charge...it wont include queues but probably will be enough for you to get by with the free license.

Also note that the Free edition doesn't allow call recording. If this is something needed, you will need a Pro license.

Yes, the ssl certificate will still renew when on the 4SC free license
