V15.5 upgrade to V16 Windows Server 2012 R2

Is the Upgrade out for Windows? All our linux PBX's have been upgraded.

But on our only Windows Server install, there's no upgrade available.

We are running v15.5.15502

You have do the following.’

Backup current configuration, move backup file out of 3cx folders
Uninstall v15,5
Installed v16 using the backup form above

There's no update path through the pbx's webpage?

Nothing from pbx update page, process is completely manual, you need to do what Saqqara point to you.

Take care if you used scheduled task for 3cx backup in V15.5, V16 restore installer reset task to default values cause is a bug in 3cx V16 installer , this affect only windows pc.

Can't Restore V15.5 SP6 backup with Clean V16 install or do a clean install at all!

I failed to get mine upgraded last night. There is a bug or something not working with LE that doesn't allow you to restore. You could be without PBX until they fix this. I had to pull teeth to get my install working and it's not 100%.

This is not a common situation, Failure with LE or 3CX is unusual so surely tomorrow morning problem will be quickly fixed.
Of course it's a good idea to wait until problem is fixed before upgrading or installing new 3cx

Hello all,

even when we fail to issue a cert at the time being, we will issue a temp cert (self signed) and proceed with the installation. The PBX will try every random hour of the day to create valid public one and when it succeeds it will ait reloads.

The issue above has been resolved,

It will always be a manual upgrade from 15.5 to 16 on microsoft operating systems
