Like the title says, i read in the blog post it is now possible to configure BLF via webclient, but they still mention the softclient as well? Is it possible to use BLF from the webclient or do we still need the softclient? Will this feature be added somewhere in the near future?

Hello @Mathijs

It is possible to use the BLF from the webclient as you can now use the web client as a stand alone client without needing the windows client. You will need to access the webclient via https and enable the option under Settings / General

Hello Yiannish, can you please show me where exactly? Under settings/general i see no BLF option (currently loggedin as a test user) I do see the seperate tab under general which says "BLF settings" where i can create new BLF..

BLF keys can be configured and re-arranged through the web client. Currently you can use the contact tab to call other users and see if they are busy or not (like a BLF).

I was referring to the management console settings where you can toggle the web client to be used as a stand alone client.

understood, but there is no "extra screen" like in the soft client on which you can click to instant dial a contact, forward calls, change status etc?

Currently not. More things are added to the web client with every release however so keep an eye on our change log for developments
