v16 Features / changes

Hi All,

Is there a summary of how we can access some of the new features ( I am primarily looking at the recordings part) - Want to Chuck VoIP tools away.
I have enabled all of the recording settings under the group as well as an extension

Then I log into the web client / soft client but I see no recordings place.

If you go to recordings section on 3cx Managment console (not web client) you can configure the location for archiving and the settings.

Ah, I was under the impression that V16 would have some form of recording manager.
If it's just the archiving then I need to begin the search again for a new recording management software.

So under the extension settings, What does it mean if i give the user access to their "groups recordings"?

This is for extension group rights. So if you delegate this to someone they can see recordings for not just themselves but others in that extension grouping.

v16 supports searching and the transcription occurs also for recordings if you have that feature configured. Great improvement.

It would have been great if they had a permissions group where the person only has recording access.
not sure why they can't do it.

Will have to Archive the data daily and give them remote access.. hopefully, it doesn't ZIP the recordings or something.
