The update 6a installed last night (debian - on prem) and our primary SIP trunk has been down all day. I have the provider looking into it but they are not the fastest. I'm not seeing anything in my pcap other than it is timing out. My other trunks are fine.

However, I also see my Yealink phones are slowly replacing our custom screensaver with the 3CX logo. Why is that?

Also my country code block list is all wrong. The countries in the caribbean where we have offices were blocked. They obviously were not blocked before the update.

Hi,

Trunks: What provider are you using, are they 3CX supported?

Custom Logos: if those were not defined from the management console (ie. you did them manually) then 3CX will provision its default logo.

Country codes: Do you have a previous backup we can look at, from before the upgrade?

Its the local telecom provider so therefore it's unsupported but it's the only way for us to use our area code (340). They just came back this morning with an answer saying they found something wrong with the transport and they would fix it tonight.

I'm not sure how the logo was defined but its still the company logo on my phone but many others are now 3cx.

I do have backups. If I extract it what file should I look for?

You can open the .xml of an old backup, and compare it with the .xml of a new backup you will make now.

We are comparing the NOTALLOWED_COUNTRYCODES parameter to see the before and after.

XML:

Thank you.

It looks like it was a change moving from 15.5.15502.6 to 16.06.641. We upgraded a few weeks ago. Which begs the question - was the country code block not working in 16.06 and now it is in 16.06a?

V16 introduced more destinations, so the rules coming from V15 are not an exact match.

Regardless, whatever is missing from a V15 backup will automatically be blocked in V16.

I cannot comment for the previous build, this is something you need to install and test (which is a bit of a useless exercise at this point..)
