Hello, In the past we when taking over a site and migrating to 3CX we change the site from 3 digit to 4 digit. Retraining is normally not an issue, but in prior versions I had the ability to set the SIP ID of extension 1450 to 450 so when a user dials 450 it automatically goes to 1450. It seems that is no longer the case with V18, or I am just that out of practice.
What is the new method for this? All of the postings I have found so far are for prior versions. Somebody suggested using the Company Phonebook, but I don't see a mechanism for this to work. (80% of the extensions are analog lines behind a bank of Grandstream GXW4248 devices and the clients are much past the level of retraining so I am trying to make this change as easy for them as possible (assisted living facility)
I view the call logs and there are HUNDREDS of calls going to the old 3 digit extensions because even being told + provided a list of new phone numbers they forget to put a 1 in front of the old extension to make it 4 digit.
