We have a few that have reported to IT, that the ring volume setting for the ring volume in the 3cx windows desktop app is way too loud.
Most have found alternate solutions like getting a desktop handset and deleting the 3cx app.
We have a 3cx app that ignores the system master volume level. We have tried, our phone support vendors recommendation of setting the volume, killing the task in task manager, then relaunching, but that did not work. We have tried uninstalling and re-installing still ignores master volume setting and individual 3cx volume setting.
I am hoping it is a bug in the version and future versions will either fix this or add a feature for ring volume setting independent of voice volume.
