V20 Issues - Shared parking doesn't work

Shared parking doesn't work

I setup a PBX before upgrading to test,

on V18 established to setup shared parking on Grandstream 2170 but not on GXP2160 ( manually setup)

now on version V20 shared parking give option SP495 - BLF is not on, can place a call but cannot pick it up

must find a solution for customers (we started to migrate from FreePBX to 3CX)



any ideas on how to make Shared parking work?

why we must move to v20? if it is working why to break it?

Change the role of the extension to "receptionist" and check again.

V20:
1. change it to receptionist
2. setup a line to dial in to this extension
3. setup Shared Parking, i can place the incoming call on parking cannot see (BLF doesnt work)
4. cannot pickup the call after Paked

Are these phones connecting through an SBC?

i setup 2 phones Fanvil X7A with extension 209
and Grandstream extension 599

on Grandstream the BLF is greyout on Fanvil it is on and working

on v18 working fine , on V20 doesn't want to work

No, it is not through SBC

Navigate to the update section, and check if there are any updates to be done, and if there are, upgrade the system and check again.

ok need to wait after hours, already had issue with the first update ( could not transfer calls to BLF)

Are they router phones? AFAIK 3CX only supports connecting through an SBC/router phone, to 3CX hosted servers.

Of note, v20 update 1 beta 2 came out today so you will likely have two updates to install.

On-site I am using SBC but it is not working properly, so it is working on V18 but no longer on V20?

so need to start replacing all the phones Grandstream 2170?

I am running a test from my home office, was perfect in V18 now doesn't want to work

restored the PBX to V20 before update 1 beta 2 came out today to get some of the features working (I Hope)

after restoring to V20 before BLF stopped working

rebooted the PBX BLF started to work but the attended transfer is still not working, so I will need to:
1. disable 3CX provisioning
2. on the grandstream force static Blind transfer

unless there is a way to force the Grandstream from 3CX to disable Attended transfer (please do not point me to :
as it doesnt work)
