V20 Not Pushing Default Ringtones

Hello,

We've just noticed that when we updated the default ringtone it didn't get pushed through to the phone.
We tried this on two different devices (T57W FW: 96.86.0.81 & T54W FW: 96.86.0.81) and two different Version 20.0 Update 2 (Build 715 Release) systems and the issue was consistent.
To resolve this, we had to go to the web page of the device to change the setting.

Has anyone else come across this issue before?

Hi,

Can you push any changes to the phone at all? For example add a BLF, will it appear?

Note: The ringtone change only applies to internal calls, external ones will always have the same ringtone so keep that in mind. Queues have separate ringtones.

Our client was happy when he was on v18. We upgraded him to v20. He is using Yealink phones (T58W/T31P) and suddenly he complaints that his phone has different ring sounds when they receive a call from a call queue. When we change it into call groups the right ring tone is sounding, but when we route via a call queue he says its the wrong one.

So.. to answer your question, yes. If I change a BLF button it does changes on the phone after reprovisioning. Interesting is, that the phone I did that too now has the correct ringtone. So it seems like this forces the ring tone config to be pushed as well.

Yes, all other updates provisioned fine as well as the Queue Ringtone settings updated fine.
