Afternoon everyone
After banging our heads over the instructions we could find for the setting up of Holiday prompts with scripts, we kept finding it wasn't working. After seeing all the threads in the forums for the Global holidays thought I would share something we found that worked for the system we were trying to set up the Global holiday prompt on.
Created the Office Holiday in Office Hours for the time required in the required Department.
We then didn't bother with the scripts that all the instructions we kept finding say to use. What we found did work is below, a simple solution.
Open the Inbound Queue that we wanted the Holiday prompt applied to and then adjusted the When on Holiday route, turned the play announcement on and added the announcement we wanted.
We tested this in a test department and it worked. Fingers crossed for Friday afternoon that what we have set works for the live department.
Anyone else found that this works?
