V20, Update 3 Makes it to Release Candidate

It is not issue with firewall, because even I disable one ISP provider and firewall check would be passed, issue is the same.

I'm not saying that the SD-WAN is the main reason you're unable to access updates. I'm simply pointing out that the firewall shows misconfigurations, such as SD-WAN, Proxy-based setups, etc. In any case, here are my recommendations:

Use 3CX hosting; it's a turnkey solution!
or
Make a backup, create a new VM, and restore your backup. You'll have the latest version.
However, in my opinion, you're just postponing the issue because I’m convinced the root cause lies in a network configuration.

Reconfigure your network according to 3CX's recommendations.

For example, it's not normal that I see a local IP (192.168.76.1) instead of the public IP.
While this might not be the exact cause, it again suggests that there are non-standard configurations.

Avoid manually modifying the 3CX configuration files.

If you're not using IPv6, disable it directly in Linux, although it may not be the exact cause of your issue.

If you follow 3CX procedures, you'll ensure reliability and stability. However, my recommendation remains to host your PBX with 3CX.

Please fix the network before you proceed. Your public ips switching... Not good. You have two internal ips... Not good.

Dear friends, as I mentioned to all of you several times the issue is not related to my network. I have 2 network cards and both of them are in use - one for internet connection and management of 3cx and other for SIP trunk from VoIP provider. It is normal according me and I can not see any issue here.

Anyway, from this morning new release update 3 is available and I have already installed it to test environment. In production new release is available as well and it will be installed automatically during the weekend.

Thanks to all for great support

OK. 192.168.76.1 is firewall IP address (you can not see local ip address of 3cx because we are using NAT). We can not host to 3cx cloud because customer does not allow us

Multi-Editing of users and configurations. Copy call forwarding, BLF, voicemail, view and other user configurations from one extension to others is really a timesaver! Thanks for implementing this in update 3.

@Dragan Djurdjevic Since your public IP changes rapidly, I am pretty sure 3CX only allows updates (and email) from the known IP. Also Pro licenses have a 6 hour TTL; Enterprise is 5 minutes. Not sure if the lower Enterprise TTL will help in the scenario of updates, but it would greatly help with any external users that are connecting to the old IP, if you have a Pro license.

I am on version 806 [20.0 update 3] with hosted 3cx. I am not seeing the new Call Processing Script Store. It looks like it is under Admin>Integration>Call Scripts from the blog post but I am not seeing it.

You need to wait for update 4

One feature I would love in V20 admin section is the ability to click the column headers and sort!
i.e

Under Admin/Users, to be able to sort based on User/Email/Extension/Department heading or Under Admin/Phones, to be able to sort on Model,Fw Version, name etc, would make life so much easier.

Also to be able to have a drop down picker to selector at the bottom to select how many phones/users i would like on one screen 50/100/200/all etc
thanks !

Lol page 4 till 7 you are troubleshooting a issue in the product release /information forum and he has to post in the designated section xD

I did mention this on page 5.

This may be best moved to a separate thread as it seems to be hijacking the rest of the thread.

However, check your network if you have any restrictions from reaching https://downloads-global.3cx.com.

Did you change anything on your network which would prevent the PBX from reaching the 3CX downloads server and getting the new list of available updates?
Doesnt mean we have to let it continue.

Hello. Version 20. We use 3CX for 5000 users, we kindly ask you to make changes in the phones section
In the "Phones" menu Add Sorting option for columns
-Extensions
-Vendor
-Model
-Name
-MAC
-IP
Consider changing the width of the columns
Consider changing the arrangement of the columns

This will increase the likelihood that your request is noticed.

You have 5,000 extensions on the same PBX ?
If so, I recommend using the 3CX XAPI and creating your own dashboard with data pulled from the XAPI.

Hi,

Is it possible? In Admin Console > Advance > CID Rule > can you build import .csv to manage CID rule.

I'm having a problem with some customers to upgrade version 3cx v20. They has more 4000 CID Rule and update 3 time per month.

Thank you.
@Masaki In update 4 you will find a script that allows you to query a text file for caller ID and then choose the specified route.... You can download it from the store....
