Since updating our on-prem, Windows Server based 3CX V18 to V20.0 Update 4 on December 18th 2024, I haven't seen any available updates other than Update 5 Alpha.
I would have imagined that Update 5 Beta and Beta 2 would have been made available for update when they were released.

I've found a forum post regarding Debian based installations with a similar problem, to which the solution was to SSH in and change the permission of the 3cxpbx-testing.list file using:
chmod 644 /etc/apt/sources.list.d/3cxpbx-testing.list 3CX update 33.

Is there something similar for Windows based installations? I've checked the 3CX portal and the only available Windows download is our current version, 20.0.4.487.
Do I have to update to each release in turn? I don't think this was required in previous versions.

You will have to perform the update to Alpha, then you will see the rest, one by one, inline.

Or, you can wait for the final release to be released, and it will show it instantly.

Thanks for the speedy reply Nicholas.

I don't suppose you have any idea on the timescale for the final release? I was hoping to get it done during the half-term break next week if it was available.

Unfortunately no, I do not have an exact time frame for that.

AFAIK this was always the case for alpha/beta versions. At least, for several years now.
