Updated to RC2 and everything is working well so far in our environment.


Thanks to the 3CX team for the hard work and continuous improvements. Looking forward to the final release.

Glad to see all those improvements. However, these three issues are still untouched:

- iOS Webmeeting app still doesn't work in background mode, which makes it almost useless. You can't switch to another app while in the conference, can't use it while driving, can't put phone in your pocket, etc.
- Webmeetings don't work in Safari.
- iOS 3CX client still stops receiving calls after 7 days of inactivity. All other telephony apps, e.g. Whatsapp don't have this problem.

I hope that 3CX Update 9 will provide a solution to the looping issues, which unfortunately occurs far too often because users set up direct call forwarding to other users. It would be great if, in the event of a loop, at least the called user could be notified by email and/or 3CX chat that they were unreachable due to a loop. It would be even better if the system didn’t allow the setup of call forwarding rules that cause loops in the first place.
