V8 - Blacklisting fail when extn is part of a ring group

Hi all,
Firstly, please accept my apologies if this is a rookie question.
I did search the forums for an answer or for a similiar topic but I couldnt find the information I needed hence this post.

I am using v8 of the 3CX PABX product.
Can someone tell me if it is possible to blacklist an external number for an extension that is part of a ring group?

I have tried adding the pest callers to the blacklist of each extension but it doesn't work - not unless the extension is dialled via direct means (and going around the ring group).

I hope that makes sense.

Vincenzo79: Did you ever get a response to your question? I am in the same boat as you and would like to block calls coming into a ring group. Just as you said, numbers in an extension blacklist don't get blocked. 3CX admins....any input :?:

I went ahead and upgraded to V9 and saw the blacklist capability has moved up to the global settings. KUDOS 3cx Team!!! :mrgreen:
