ver. 1.3.4: no address book seen

Hi! I have a weird issue. I do not see the address book from the 3CX 1.3.4 for Android (2.34, Experia Mini, build 4.0.2.A.0.62). After just installed the program, I could see and dial numbers from the phone's address book. However, couple of days later this disappeared. When pressed "contacts" button, says "No contacts", and "search contact" does not return anything. Any ideas?
