Version 15.5 update

Hi,

Version 15.5 is end of life and from the 15th September SSL are updated.
Can anyone share info if we can wait a bit longer with updatting? Will some functionalities stop working or all?

Why do not not want to upgrade to version 16 ?

Version 15.5 will still work but for the following (just some)

1. No 3CX support
2. 3CX IOS application will not work due to the way apple now uses https2 for push notifications.
3. Webclient , due to Chrome and Edge changes

I would upgrade to V16 to get the new features, better support and unless you have VERY old Yealinks, you shouldn't have to swap them.

What model of yealink phones do you have ?.

I am petty sure 3cx have not stopped supporting any yealink phones between 15.5 and 16

If we are talking about supported phones found here, they should still work in V16, just read the Known Limitations section for specific models https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/
