Version 16 - Perpetual License

We have a client with perpetual 4 sim calls license, which has been recently upgrade from Std to Pro (Ver 16 upgrade).

The maintenance is up for renewal in July,with all the licensing changes how do I go about changing this license to 4SC (or 8SC) standard license which are free perpetually.

The company only has three phones, so 4 sim calls is fine, without all the extra functions of the Pro

You should ask to 3cx commercial service to downgrade the key licence to stay in 4SC STD instead of PRO

What you do is you trade in your perpetual v16 4 SC Pro license for a 1 year annual free renewal. This will be pro for the first year. Then upon the 1 year expiry of the trade-in license just don't renew it and it will downgrade to 8sc standard.

I believe you may have to do this through your 3CX partner. You can logon to your 3CX Customer Portal and see if the option to trade-in the license is there. Alternatively the option will likely be on the renewal email you get from 3CX once you let the maintenance expire.
