Hallo,
we have 3cx v18 PRO on premise (Windows). I think we use all features in version 18 (CFD, FXS, DECT, Hot Desking, Bridge ...).
I heard at your presentation, that version 20 update 1 (now presented) will have all the features as version 18. Is that right?

If PRO licence is for us good enough and we do not need ENT licence, can we migrate first to linux 3cx v18?
Is 3cx v18 different (features) between Linux and Windows?

And in Linux then upgrade from version 18 to 20?

Thank You

Hi Thomas.
Why not using V20 trial key to see the options and settings that are there, so you can see and then take a next step and upgrade your V18 production system.

Hi Oleg,
I'm a paying user, not 3cx tester.
I only want to update version 18 to version 20, so that everything works as before (features).
When maker make new version (update), then I awaiting clear informations.

In the webinar, I asked the presenter if I could upgrade from version 18 to version 20 and if all the features would be available. The answer was that version 20 update 1.

Can only somebody confirm it?

Here is:

What features are not immediately available in the final?

  • Hot Desking
  • Scheduled Reports
  • We need another 1-2 months for these

And here nothing about Hot Desking or Scheduled Reports (clear informations, that this features are added):

I can confirm that V20 Update 1, RC1 do have:
- Hot desking
- Scheduled reports
- FXS
- DECT
- CFD
- Bridges

There are some of the changes to the report features tho (for example you don't have Graph reports, scheduled time is set globally and not per the specific report), and that was the reason I mentioned to get the trial key and explore how it is at the current stage of V20.
