budghetphone

Nick, thanks for your answer. Maybe from january we will have more luck then. To consider: Budgetphone is really one great provider, so when in the future you might look for a provider who could help you test, please remember this one. http://www.budgetphone.nl

The other dutch one you mentioned I will take a look at their website.

Thanks for your reply.

My example with the "Failed to find a transport to host 0.0.0.0" is a response from your previous post where you recomend me try sip.sipnumber.net.

I know sip.sipnumber.net not exist, that the way i show you. The correct address is sipnumber.net. But last one was problem with version 5.

I know we have another forum dedicated only to voip providers, but in this case i reporting also other problems with extentions wich remain busy after disconnect.

But, you have right, i can post only the voip provider problem in that forum.

Thanks

Nick:

Thanks you too for your response.

I know, your software is really good, and i mencioned that, it's free. Really how i told you, i'm a big fan of 3cx. I think it's really great, an exceptional as you told me. I not doing a negative feedback to 3cx, otherwise, some responses give to me a negative feedback and i only ask what happened. Please, don't think as a negative feedback.

In my first post of the problem, i only want announce to you the problem, and maybe i can get an solution from your team or other user. i don't be waiting and enterprise level support, only a little help.

I hope we can continuing collaboration with you and your team improve your software, is great know your remain your policies unchaged. And now is good also know your team is focus right now in other type improvement, and after january we can get more luck.

My principal reason to try version 5 was the caller id name feature. But, now i'm back to version 3, and using direct sip domain calls from my pstn gateway to an extension, i can get the incoming caller id without problem. So, i can continuing testing the version 5 in another machine and keep the version 3 running in home.

Thanks,

JOSE

very simple ashaming solution

Hi all of you. Here is the very simple for me almost ashiming solution for my provider problem.

.............Restart your server after installing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nick, sorry for the inconvenience, allthough it seems that voipbuster, sipgate without restarting the server are functioning immediately, but budgetphone needs the restart, maybe that is something to look for in the next version why that happens, or maybe it is an idea that after the install a popup comes up where you will be asked to restart the server, for just in case

Great news!! Thanks for letting us know!

We will definitely check why. Right now we are creating documentation and updating log messages and so on to at least be able to identify where some providers are having issues and what can be done about it.

We should have something by this week.

Any one still having problems let us know at what stage:

Registration
when making outbound calls
when receiving outbound calls

Hi.

The last version of 3cx v5.0.3648.0 have problem registering voip providers with second level domains.

For example sip.voipdiscount.com work good. But sipnumber.net domain do it nothing, and anything is show in the log.

I have problem with this two:

sipnumber.net
voipuser.org

If i put the ip address of thats domain registering, but not allow call. Older
version work good with this type of domain. Please check that.

This work good:
sip.voipdiscount.com
sip.voipbusterpro.com
sip.poivy.com

Thanks

sipnumber is nowFreedigits

and reed this in the Freedigits site

SIP device configuration is no longer offered
Our old service was configurable with SIP devices such as softphones and telephone adapters. If you are still using our old service, that won't change.

Because Ring-To Numbers are for incoming calls only, SIP configuration is not available with this new service.

Re:

Thanks simones181170, but sipnumber older user remain they service as always. Only you can't create new account on freedigits or sipnumber domain, the new one is ring-to-number but direct incoming calls are not free.

In version 3 my sipnumber account work great...

landfiets: after restart the server any provider going green, i can outgoing, but not incoming calls.... and the log show nothing about that. You not use incoming calls with your provider???, try please if you can.

Thanks

e'thing fine now

JRME: sure I use outgoing and it works great now. It is allready improvement that you have green light from the lines.
What happens when you dial with your cellphone your own number?
Tell me what you hear and what happens. Do you see in the webinterface the lines go orange? Or do they stay green, because otherwise your routing is not right at the moment. V3 is totally different from the V5 and you need to configure your outbound rules again and maybe also your inbound.

Hello
I'm having problems with budgetphone also. Using 3CX version 5.14128.0 I am able to call via the budgetphone line (it also shows green in the status screen) but incoming calls do not work. If I call my number is get the message 'user not found' and I see nothing happening in the logfiles or status screen. I folowed Budgetphone's instructions in their PDF (http://www.budgetphone.nl/img/3cx.pdf) but still no luck.
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot
Jan
