I don't have a Yealink T58 handy to test with and didn't find this answered anywhere.
Can a user with a Yealink T58A with camera (T58V) participate in a video call with another 3CX user on the web client or mobile app?
I'd also be interested to know if it works with the Yealink VP59 although I understand it is not officially supported.

The T58A/V phones support H.264HP, H.264,VP8 according to the manufacturer.

The 3CX clients should all theoretically be able to have a 2 way video call with them over VP8, I can take a look tomorrow and let you know.

A disclaimer though, common video codecs are a bit more complex than audio codecs (various bit rates, profiles and resolutions) so even though it may work with some devices, it may not work with others. For mobiles specifically, they have hardware codec accelerators which are more efficient, but less flexible than software codecs.

As for VP59 there is no support nor is it planned on getting any support in the future so I cannot comment.

Hi @pmterp

I have tested the T58V model and I had two-way video calls successfully using all the below methods:

- 3CX Windows Client
- 3CX Web Client
- 3CX Chrome Extension
- 3CX Android Client
- 3CX iOS Client
