Hi Guys
I need to configure a virtual exts and I mean virtual where no handsets are attached/assign to the ext
Scenario looks like this:
Real DDI 08454130XXX is assigned to digital reception ext 8000
Option 1 should connect to ext 2001
Option 2 should connect to ext 2002
Option 3 should connect to ext 2003
Ext 2001 has permanent divert to real DDI 020 8551 XXXX
Ext 2002 has permanent divert to real DDI 020 7251 XXXX
Ext 2003 has permanent divert to real mobile 079 1356 XXXX
There is no need for the handsets to be connected as whole idea is that when public calls
08454130XXXX calls are handled by the PBX's digital receptionist and put through to selected
Each virtual ext should follow forward rules and transfer calls accordingly
So physicaly no human being answers the calls so there is no need for the handsets
Problem I got is that created exts are showing up on PBX as not registered so any attemp to call
any of them fails with message:
"Identification failed due to unidentified source"
Does anyone know how or is it possible at all to configure virtual ext with no handsets attached which can be diverted whereever I want?
Cheers
Shaun
