VM message audio for group

Hey guys, what's the best way to get VM for a group with a custom message? Would you just made a new ext and be done with it?

Yes, create a virtual / dummy extension and record your message for the voicemail - can hide this extension from the company address book.

You can email the message, by creating a distribution group on your email system and adding this email address to the extension

You can also access the voicemails via a phone, dial your voicemail system number , press # on the first prompt and you will be asked for extension number

You might also consider looking our our Voicemail Manager add-in which has a group voicemail feature. When a voicemail is left in the group voicemail box, it propagates (copies) the voicemail to each member of the group. As a result, your MWI will light up, and you will receive a email with the voicemail as an attachment (if configured to do so).
