Voice Mail problem

Hi

I am using the system with all incoming calls routed to reception ext 100. the problem i am having is when people call and it is routed to voice mail, they get a message saying leave a message and press the pound key.
a lot of people don't bother so the line stays on hook sometimes for up to 20 mins ,blocking all other incoming calls on that line.

is it possible

A: change the voice mail to a more simple "please leave a message after the tone" and it then hangs up with the incoming caller hangs up.

or

B: if above not possible have the line just hangup when the caller hangs up to stop having the line blocked.

I am using the free version while i still evaluate the system.

I am using linksys SPA3102 gateways but i taught the requirement to press the pound key is built into the 3cx system not the gateways?

It sounds as though the 3102 is not sending the correct signals to the 3CX system letting it know that the caller has hung up.

Have you correctly set the 3102 up as documented in the 3CX guide?

Detect CPC: yes
Detect PSTN Long Silence: yes
PSTN Long Silence Duration: 120
PSTN Silence Threshold: high
Detect Disconnect Tone: yes
Disconnect Tone: "depend on your region"

i wonder if anyone know the local disconnect tones for thailand? i imagine its similar to US, most things are here
