voicemail: disable leaving a message

How can I disable leaving a message for the voicemail? So basically I just want the voicemail to play a message when people call. Thanks!

I'm not aware of any way to disable the recording of incoming messages.

What you could do is word your message in such a way that they get the idea that they can't leave a message, (this is ABC computers, we are closed today, blah, blah, blah...thank you, and goodbye) then either leave a l o n g pause (dead air) at the end, so they will hang up, or, record a busy signal for a minute or so. That will let them know that they are to not to even try to leave a message.

Don't use voicemail. Use an auto attendant (digital receptionist) instead.

Hi, but auto attendant is not accessible for the final user only for admin. Instead a single user can personalize their greeting message and activate forward... but it cannot disable leaving a message.
