Hello,

I am having problems with my 3cx Voicemail.

System configuration:
Windows Server 2003 dedicated to running 3cx v10.0.22686.2297 SP.5

Phones:
Cisco 509g's with firmware: 7.4.9c

The problem is:
When a call is unaswered it transfers to voicemail but nothing happens.. Just silence on the end of the phone.
When I try and connect to voicemail from my phone again it gives just silence... It is as if the voicemail is just not there

3cx Server Logs:

Additional Info:
I have 2 Cisco509g's setup as a ring group called "Sales Office". They are set to answer all incoming calls. If unanswered the call is routed to voicemail

I am using a SIP connection through BT.

3CX has been working perfectly for the last 3 months. I did a windows update on the server last night and this morning had the problem with voicemail... The problem is the same regardless of internal or external calls the the ring goup

Thanks in advance

Simon

Hi,

If you call voice mail number from one of your extensions can you hear the prompt?

We are experiencing the exact same problem on a fresh install on a 2003R2 server. 3cx v(latest) with sp(latest) applied. Any resolution available would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to install backup to another machine with a different OS and see if the calls connect to vm?

No, not yet. Fresh install and still setting up system. I will load to a VM 2k8R2 OS to test to see if the issue is present there to, perhaps it has to do with a configuration issue, however we have not done anything fancy beyond the default config.

I'd say give that a try and see what happens.

Also take a look at this link this seems to be a bit like what you are describing voice mail not connecting, and there is no audio.
